Items of a personal nature, such as gifts, souvenirs, spa services, or private sessions

Any transportation, entrance fees, or activities outside of the planned group itinerary
Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable $500 USD deposit is required per person to secure your spot.
Cancellations made on or after March 16, 2026 will result in a 100% loss of payments made (no refunds). We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment.
If the trip does not meet the minimum required number of participants or we determine that this retreat is not the right fit for you, we reserve the right to cancel. In this case, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

Logistics
Your Flights
Please book your flight to arrive at the La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City (GUA) on May 17th before 2:00 pm, and to depart on May 22nd after 3:00 pm.
Group transportation will be provided for you to and from the retreat center if you are there at the appointed times. See the Ground and LakeTransportation section.
Ground & Lake Transportation
Transportation will be provided for you to and from the retreat center on May 17th and May 22nd as long as you arrive at the designated times.
Private group transport to Santa Cruz La Laguna will leave the airport around 3 pm on May 17th, so please make sure your flight arrives no later than 2 pm to allow time for baggage claim and customs.
Ground travel from the airport to Santa Cruz La Laguna is approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival to the shores of Lake Atitlan, a private boat will transport our group across the lake directly to the Villa Sumaya dock, where the retreat team will be ready to welcome you. After the retreat closes on May 22nd, our group transport will leave for the airport around 10am. This means your flight needs to depart no earlier than 3 pm.
If your travel plans fall outside of the designated group transportation window, alternate transportation to and from Villa Sumaya is available at your own expense. This typically involves a taxi or shuttle to Santa Cruz La Laguna followed by a public boat taxi across Lake Atitlán. We are happy to offer guidance if needed.
Please make sure to provide us with all your travel details at least two weeks before departure (preferably much earlier), so we can set it up accordingly.

Each sanctuary is unique, and you’ll be able to select yours once your deposit is received.
* A non-refundable deposit of $500 USD is required to secure your spot.
* Final balance is due by May 1, 2026.
For shared private sanctuaries booked with a known companion, both guests must reserve together in a single booking. A combined non-refundable deposit of $1000 USD ($500 per guest) is required.
